Boudica Sky – once home to the ICENI tribe

Famous for it’s spectacular expansive skies under which the Iron and early Roman age Britainic ICENI tribe once lived. Boudica was their Queen. The combination inspired the name of the our corporate retreat space in the village of Warham, where the ICENI fort is one of the best preserved in the country.

Holkham Beach

Boudica Sky is one of the best places in the country to observe migrating birds.  In the spring millions of birds move up to north from Southern Europe and Africa.  Chiffchaffs, sand martins and wheatears are first to arrive in March.  In April Blackcaps, willow warblers, swallows, house martins and cuckoos follow.   In the winter the pink footed geese arrive from Iceland and Greenland.

Expect to see the raptors our resident Barn Owl, partridge, pheasants and oyster catchers in the gardens.
